I have eaten here several times and the food has always been great! I love the egg rolls and crab rangoon. They are the best Chinese food I have found in the Sioux City area. Great food, good service, and decent prices! I will be back!

Panda palace is one of the better 'Chinese' food restaurants in the Sioux City area. (By 'Chinese' I mean the Americanized Chinese food we expect from take-out joints.) Most of the items seem to be made in-house, and the soups are very good. The meats are always done well and veggies seem relatively fresh. Most importantly, everything comes well seasoned. You can always taste the lemon, the garlic, and the spice. On food alone, I would give Panda Palace 4/5 stars. The bigger draw backs to Panda Palace are their hours and their service. Panda Palace is closed Sunday and it closes by 9 every night. During peak hours, the delivery and take-out service is often quite slow. (In their defense, the employees usually warn you up front about the delay.) If they stayed open until 10, and opened on Sundays, they would be 4/5 stars all around.

I've eating Chinese food in many places across this country and this place is one of the best. Their cashew shrimp has a flavor that is just addictive. I've tried to get the recipe out of them but no go. The wonton soup is great as well. Clean and always polite. I love going here.

I've been dining at the Panda Palace ever since it opened some 10 plus years ago. I find the food and service today to be as good if not better than when it first opened.

We go to Panda Palace about once a week. The food is pretty good and consistent. They have the best Wonton Soup I have ever had. The pan fried noodles are exceptional as well. The service is always very attentive and food comes out pretty fast. The place is clean, and the prices are very reasonable. We love Panda!.

Grandma wants some Chinese food? Take her here! I stopped here for lunch the other day while I was waiting for tires to be put on my vehicle. While the food here tastes decent, and the restaurant is clean and in good repair, it just wasn't that great. The eggrolls were obviously not home-made and the food had a bland consistency that reminded me of fast-food. The service was decent though and the price per dish was usually under eight dollars so I'm really stuck as to what to say about this place. Oh and I guess they deliver; but only to businesses. What gives with that? If my grandmother (god rest her soul) was still with us, this would be the place I would take her for an "exciting" day out.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
